We are making good progress! Now your valuation has been carried out, your final offer letter from the bank detailing your application will be issued. We will be in touch shortly to arrange a time and place for you to sign this.

Mortgage pre-approval is the first step in the application process for buying a property. It is when the bank reviews your application and issues a letter or email which will state that they have pre-approved you and will lend you the amount requested. This is generally valid for 60 days.

The bank will now disburse your mortgage. If your seller has a mortgage, the bank will clear this so we can proceed to transfer. If your seller owns the property outright, we are currently arranging the final documents so we can book your transfer date!

The next step is to find your dream home (if you haven't already)! During this process, you will sign a Form F and this makes up the contract for the purchasing process. It is an agreement put together by the real estate agent, signed by you and the seller, outlining the timescales and terms and conditions of the property purchase. We will always check the Form F on your behalf before you sign it.<br>*please check your pre-approval.

The valuation will be carried out by a third party instructed by the lender. This will require physical access to the property you are buying. This allows the bank to see the accurate market value of the property.
