Pre-Holo - Arran and Michael are taking mortgage calls while at Michael’s wedding in Greece. (There must be an easier way to do business than this!) Ideas to digitise the mortgage process begin to grow roots.
Feb 2020
Holo launches the Middle East’s first digital mortgage platform as part of the Wamda X program 2020. Simple online application, more transparency and ease of use (and less calls when on holiday).
Dec 2020
Holo process over AED200mil in loans in just 10 months, all during the pandemic. People love the accessibility, transparency and speed of digital mortgage applications!
Jun 2021
Our second Holo office opens on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi to serve our partners in the capital; and cater to the growing demand for quality advice all across the UAE.
Dec 2021
2021 sees rapid growth, with over AED550Mil loans issued within the 12 months. We launch the Holo X white label application to over 40 companies in the UAE to help with their customer's finance needs.
Dec 2022
Holo starts the year with a bang as we close a pre-series A funding round and obtain our SAMA license making us the first digital broker in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2023
Our biggest year to date! The team is working on expansions to new geographies outside of the UAE supported by the launch of a new Arabic website. We announce the launch of The Hub buyers platform in July, allowing our real estate partners to access approved Holo buyers, to facilitate faster sales.
2024
